How to Cancel a Text Message Sent to the Wrong Person 

It is now common for Android  and IOS users to mistakenly send messages to the wrong person, even i have found myself in such a position and that why i decided to come up with this post to help you. 

Anytime you find yourself in this situation, just follow the little trick  i will teach you in this post, and you are sure the message wouldn't be delivered. It's very simple to cancel a text message sent to a wrong recipient on Android and iOS before it delivers. Kindly follow the short guide below.

HOW TO CANCEL A TEXT MESSAGE SENT TO A WRONG PERSON  ON ANDROID & iOS

If you find yourself in such a position please read this post carefully.

>> Once you send the text to the unintended person

>> Before the second Mark appears, immediately put your phone on Airplane mode. You should be very very fast, As this is the most important step.

 (first Mark means SMS sent, while the second Mark that appears means SMS delivered).

>> After that, you should see "Fail to deliver (Or similar)"

>> Now, delete the message

>> Finally, turn off Airplane mode.

That's all friends. You have successfully cancelled a text message sent to the wrong recipient.

CAN I TRY THIS ON NOKIA TORCH, JAVA / SYMBIAN?

This guide is likely not to work on these kind of phones. Because, on Nokia Torch-light, if you try to remove the battery immediately or switch off the phone, the text message will be Pending in Outbox folder. And once you turn on the phone, it will automatically re-send the text message before you could do anything. Same applies to Nokia Java and Symbian.
