How To Perform Factory Reset On Your PlayStation 4

Most of the people reading this post must have fallen victim to either an error or similar problems and you want to perform a factory reset well this post would surely help you.

There are two types of factory reset

>>  the safe mode or the

>> PS4 dashboard

Which do you think is easier and saves time?

Well the two are listed below

       METHOD ONE OF TWO

How To Perform Factory Reset On PlayStation 4 From The Dashboard

>> deactivate your PS4 account by signing in to your settings MENU. Go to Network/Account Management and you will find Activate as your primary PS4 option, kindly Deactivate.

>> Sign back in with your user account, which is different from your PS4 account.

>> Then go to Settings > Initialization and you will found two options where the first one is to return your PS4 to the factory state but will not delete your hard drive while the second option, is to delete and wipe out your files and even make your PS4 return to it original state as if you just bought it new.

         METHOD TWO OF TWO

How To Perform Factory Reset On PlayStation 4 From Safe Mode

THIS METHOD CAN BE TRIED IF THE FIRST DIDN'T WORK

>> Turn your PS4 completely off and hold the power button till you hear two beeps and you will know is on safe mode through the black background.

>> choose the reset option you need; Restore Default Settings or Initialize PS4 to wipe the hard drive and restore to factory settings while keeping the system software.
