Etisalat set to leave Nigeria

After so many years of stay in Nigeria Etisalat has decided to call it quit, to story is so sad even I would really miss them as they are my best  network.

Why Etisalat Decided to leave Nigeria?

Etisalat network took the decision to leave Nigeria mainly because the  $1.7 million loan talk yielded negatively.

This were their words;

Hatem Dowidar, Chief Executive of Etisalat International said on Monday that there was no need for the brand in Nigeria after the loan talk collapsed. Meanwhile, Nigeria regulators intervened last week to save Etisalat Nigeria from collapse after talks with it lenders(borrowers) to renegotiate a $1.2 billion failed.

Etisalat international, therefore announced on Monday that it was pulling out as all UAE (United Arab Emirates) shareholders of the company have exited and left the board and management of the Nigerian arm.
